Choosing Your First Radiance Showdown Deck

  • Both fixed decks come in the same box, so swap sides after your first game before deciding which style to build on.
  • This is a first-games comparison of the published lists, not a tested claim that either deck wins the matchup.

Radiance Showdown Decks Release Date, Price and Contents

  • Radiance releases October 23, 2026; the Showdown lists were added to Riot’s overview in its October 16 update.
  • The Riot US store lists $34.99, but it showed Out of Stock when checked October 18.
  • That is a publisher price reference, not an available delivered offer or a complete singles-value comparison.

  • The separate champion heading does not mean you should add those copies on top of a 40-card list.
  • Keep the two decks separate for your first games, and use the rulebook to set aside your starting chosen champion.
  • The three battlefields are a selection pool, not a direction to put all three into play by yourself.

Starry-Eyed Songstress: turn spare units into a spell discount

Starry-Eyed Songstress, RAD-151/167, reference card artwork
Three units and your Legend trade readiness for a cheaper spell. Reference artwork: RAD-151/167.
  • Seraphine's Legend can exhaust itself and three friendly units as an additional cost to reduce a spell's energy cost by 2.
  • You still need three units available to exhaust; the Legend doesn't count as one of those units.
  • Make Recruit tokens before planning the discount, then weigh the cheaper spell against leaving those units exhausted.
Shop Starry-Eyed Songstress

Seraphine Showdown Deck Strategy

  • Build enough units to make Starry-Eyed Songstress useful before holding a spell solely for its discount.
  • Concert Poster and Not Alone help replenish Recruits, while Encore can supply two more small units.
  • The included Seraphine, Inspiring rewards exhausting three or more friendly units at once with an optional draw, once each turn.
  • For example, using the Legend with three friendly units can meet Inspiring’s simultaneous-exhaust condition; exhausting three units in three separate actions does not.
  • Spend the discount when the spell changes a fight or rebuilds your board, rather than exhausting units just because the option exists.

Seraphine, Not Alone: make the third unit easier to find

Seraphine, Not Alone, RAD-138/167, reference card artwork
Not Alone replenishes your board when you play or exhaust her. Reference artwork: RAD-138/167.
  • Not Alone makes a 1 Might Recruit at your base when you play her and whenever she becomes exhausted.
  • Her Might increases for each other exhausted unit you control, so a board built for the Legend's discount also helps her combat stats.
  • For example, exhausting Not Alone with two other units pays the Legend's three-unit requirement and triggers another Recruit.
Shop Seraphine, Not Alone

Concert Poster: build a crowd at a battlefield

Concert Poster, RAD-116/167, reference card artwork
A Poster rewards you while its battlefield remains worth fighting over. Reference artwork: RAD-116/167.
  • The deck includes three Posters, each with Deploy, so you play it to a battlefield rather than your base.
  • When you play it or conquer there, you can pay 1 energy to make a 1 Might Recruit at your base.
  • If an opponent holds that battlefield, the Poster is killed; it isn't a permanent source of free tokens.
Shop Concert Poster

Encore: choose the two effects the board needs

Encore, RAD-152/167, reference card artwork
Two chosen modes let one card rebuild your board or help a fight. Reference artwork: RAD-152/167.
  • Encore lets you choose two effects: deal 2 to a unit, make two Recruits, give up to two units +1 Might each this turn, or look at the top two cards, draw one and recycle the other.
  • Making Recruits helps rebuild the group you need for Seraphine's next discount.
  • Damage plus a Might boost is a different use when you already have enough units and need to win a fight.

Evelynn Showdown Deck Strategy

  • Plan where your hidden card will matter before you reveal it; the Legend’s draw is only one part of the payoff.
  • In Control wants a face-down card to remain at her battlefield when she holds, while Consuming rewards playing cards from face down.
  • Those rewards can pull in different directions: keeping the threat hidden can be worth more than immediately refreshing your hand.
  • Your first face-down play on your turn draws without the opponent-turn discard; your first on their turn draws and discards.
  • The supplied Entrancing can move an enemy from another location to her battlefield when played from face down on your turn; that timing condition matters.

Agony's Embrace: learn when to reveal a hidden card

Agony's Embrace, RAD-153/167, reference card artwork
Your turn gives you a draw; an opponent’s turn also asks for a discard. Reference artwork: RAD-153/167.
  • Evelynn's Legend draws a card the first time each turn you play a card from face down.
  • On an opponent's turn, you then discard a card, so that trigger improves your hand choice without increasing its size.
  • Further face-down plays that turn don't trigger another Legend draw, although other cards can still reward them.

Evelynn, Consuming: threaten another fight

Evelynn, Consuming, RAD-090/167, reference card artwork
A hidden-card play can ready Consuming for another action. Reference artwork: RAD-090/167.
  • Consuming has Ambush, which lets you play her as a Reaction to a battlefield where you already have units.
  • Each time you play a card from face down, she readies and gets +1 Might for the turn.
  • A readying effect can give you another useful unit after a fight, but it doesn't protect her from removal while you're setting it up.
Shop Evelynn, Consuming

Evelynn, In Control: protect the hidden card that scores

Evelynn, In Control, RAD-109/167, reference card artwork
Keep a card face down at In Control’s battlefield for the extra point. Reference artwork: RAD-109/167.
  • In Control has Disarm, giving an enemy unit at her battlefield -1 Might for the turn when she attacks.
  • When she holds, she scores 1 point if you control a face-down card at that same battlefield.
  • Revealing your only hidden card there can remove that extra-point condition, so don't flip it just to draw with the Legend.
Shop Evelynn, In Control

Last Caress: send the next unit where you need it

Last Caress, RAD-154/167, reference card artwork
Last Caress changes where your next unit can be played. Reference artwork: RAD-154/167.
  • Last Caress is a Reaction that lets the next unit you play that turn be played to any battlefield, including a unit played from face down.
  • When you play that unit, you Buff it if it doesn't already have a buff.
  • The permission applies to one next unit; it doesn't relocate a unit already on the board or give every later unit that permission.

Radiance Showdown Rules and Errata to Know

  • Elnuk Herd’s October 9 errata changes “another friendly unit” to “a friendly unit,” so a normally played Herd can boost itself.
  • A Herd played from face down recycles after giving its boost; choose another unit if you want that +3 Might to remain on the board.
  • Last Caress’s updated punctuation confirms that its next-unit permission includes a unit played from face down.
  • Use Riot’s errata notice when a printed card or gallery transcription still shows old text.
  • Deploy belongs at a battlefield, and an opponent holding there kills that Gear; defending the location matters for Concert Poster.
  • The October 16 rules update supports these mechanics; our Radiance rules guide explains Deploy and Disarm with examples.

Who the Radiance Showdown Box Is For

  • For two people learning together, the main appeal is having two complete opposing lists and play aids in one box.
  • For a single-deck player, check how many cards you actually need before paying for both sides.
  • The two randomized boosters do not establish that the box will pay for itself, and no full resale total is measured here.
  • For an organized Pre-Rift event, use the Radiance Pre-Rift guide; its seeded Sealed kit and deckbuilding rules are different.
  • For card browsing beyond these fixed lists, visit the Radiance card gallery before changing either deck.
  • Try both fixed decks first, then change one problem at a time; these lists have not been presented as tournament upgrades.
