• The October 15 Scryfall snapshot supplies exact FRA, FRC, and SPG card IDs, collector numbers, finishes, and USD quotes.
• For each slot, the model multiplies category rate by the average exact-printing quote within that category, counts cards under $1 as $0, then adds all 15 card positions.
• Because Wizards does not publish within-category card frequencies, the model assumes equal odds for each eligible printing inside its category.
• The model normalizes rounded percentages within each ordinary slot. It does not infer a numerical rate for facet foils or the serialized card.
• Echoed-pair collation is simplified to independent marginal card draws in the distribution sampler; this can shift the median and recovery odds.
• The direct expected value and a separate 150,000-pack and 70,000-display sampler agree within sampling noise.
• An independent sampler with a different random number generator and draw procedure also reproduced the average, median, and recovery rate.
