The honest answer
No eligible new colorless commander exists in HOB or HOC.
We checked every new card against current Commander legality, printed type line, both faces of transforming cards, and any explicit permission to start in the command zone. The field is empty, so this page does not pad the answer with a reprint or a legendary noncreature permanent.
Colorless artifacts can still support a deck led by an older colorless commander, but that does not make those artifacts commanders themselves. A legendary artifact needs an explicit rule allowing it to lead a deck unless it is also an eligible legendary creature. The Arkenstone and other named treasures are therefore not substitutes for a missing commander. If you want a new Hobbit legend at the helm, compare the five colored guides and choose a color identity that fits the cards you want to play.
