Arena Direct Reality Fracture: Entry, Deadlines and Prize Claims

Arena Direct puts physical Reality Fracture boxes at the top of a paid Sealed run. Read the stopping rule and claim requirements before spending 6,000 gems: a winning run still leaves account verification and a prize order to finish.

Arena Direct Entry and Rewards

  • The October 12 official terms specify best-of-one Sealed using six digital Reality Fracture Play Boosters, with a 6,000-gem entry.
  • The run stops at seven wins or two losses, whichever comes first; getting to six wins does not itself end your run.

  • Rewards are the tier you finish on, not a stack of every lower tier. The terms do not list gems or Arena packs alongside the six- and seven-win box tiers.
  • A digital pack is not a physical booster, and a box prize is not spendable gems. Treat the columns as different things rather than adding a made-up cash value.

  • Both the event article and current terms give these November 2 deadlines despite the shorter October 23-November 1 heading.
  • US clocks turn back November 1. The local Pacific and Eastern signup times stay the same; their UTC offsets change.
  • An entry limit can close the event earlier. At the final cutoff, no new matches begin, while matches already underway may finish.
  • Leave time for your remaining matches instead of treating the signup cutoff as a fresh full session. There are only three scheduled hours between signup close and the last new-match start.
Arena Direct opens October 23; November 2 signups close at 11 a.m. Eastern and new matches stop at 2 p.m. Eastern

Arena Direct Eligibility and Shipping

  • The terms require age 18 or your jurisdiction’s age of majority, whichever is older, a legally permitted location, and a valid Wizards account. Entry eligibility and physical delivery are separate: the FAQ permits entry from an unlisted region if it is not prohibited, but boxes ship only to listed destinations.
  • Keep your account email and country current, and use only one Wizards account for the event. Resolve an incorrect country through official support before you spend the entry gems.
  • Use your permanent home address for i-payout verification and your delivery address for the prize order. For delivery to a different region, contact Arena Direct support; don’t change your account country to match a shipping address.
  • The event article says box supplies are limited and describes a $164.70 cash substitute per box. That figure is an announced substitute, not the box’s current sale price or guaranteed net proceeds.
  • The article’s general withholding wording differs from the terms and support FAQ, which say Wizards covers applicable US withholding for non-US winners. Local taxes and duties can still apply; use the current claim instructions and professional advice for your own situation.

Arena Direct Prize Claim Steps

  • After the whole event closes, watch your registered email. The official FAQ separates the initial winner email from the later prize-claim email; finishing your own run does not start immediate delivery.
  • Complete the Arena Direct-specific i-payout identity process, then use the later claim link to place the free prize order with your delivery details. An account for a different Wizards event may not be the correct wallet.
  • Keep the order confirmation. The FAQ’s roughly 2.5-3-week prize-email estimate is not a promised arrival date.
  • The event article describes a 90-day claim period from event end; the terms also describe a 90-day response period from prize notification for cash claims. Act promptly and follow the deadline in your own notice.
Prize claim sequence: event closes, winner email, Arena Direct verification, prize email, order and shipping
A successful run starts a claim process. Verification and the prize order remain separate steps.

Arena Direct Questions

  • Is this a championship qualifier? The terms say entering Arena Direct does not enter you into another tournament. The Arena Championship 13 broadcast is a separate invitation-only competition.
  • Should you enter for a guaranteed box? No. You can finish with no reward, and the entry fee is not refunded merely because you stop playing.
  • Is this an expected-value verdict? No. There is no verified personal win rate or complete net-value model here. Set an entry budget you are comfortable losing.
  • For the set’s cards rather than event entry, start with the Reality Fracture Sealed guide; its dated product economics do not predict your Arena match results.
