Arena Championship 13 Standard Metagame
| Archetype | Players | Share of 176 |
|---|---|---|
| Mono-Green Landfall | 29 | 16.5% |
| Dimir Uldaros | 25 | 14.2% |
| Orzhov Life Gain | 21 | 11.9% |
| Other 29 archetypes combined | 101 | 57.4% |
- Frank Karsten’s October 23 registration breakdown contains 176 players across 32 archetypes. Its newer total differs from the 178-player October 15 viewer guide.
- The top three sum to 75 players: 75 divided by 176 is 42.6% after rounding. More than half the field is playing something else.
- Do not read 16.5% as Mono-Green’s chance of winning. It is a share of registrations before this tournament’s results.
- Likewise, a change from an earlier winner-only sample does not measure the same population as this complete entry list.

Standard Deck Plans to Follow
- Mono-Green Landfall turns land development into pressure. Watch whether the deck can keep presenting threats after its first burst, rather than judging it only by the fastest opening.
- Dimir Uldaros uses its graveyard as a resource. Track when the opponent spends disruption and whether the blue-black player can rebuild afterward.
- Orzhov Life Gain converts repeated life-gain events into battlefield value. Watch which engine pieces matter most when the opponent has a removal spell.
- Those are the published archetype plans, not complete recommended lists. Wait for each published main deck and sideboard before copying card quantities or sideboard plans.
- Pick one of these matchups and write down a decision that surprised you. Compare the second game with the first to see which cards leave the main plan and which answers come in. This is a viewing exercise, not a tested sideboard guide.

Arena Championship 13 Tournament Format
- All rounds are Standard. Day One runs modified Swiss until a player reaches seven wins or three losses, with up to nine rounds.
- Day Two may begin with Top 16 qualification matches, depending on the number of seven-win players, before the single-elimination Top 16.
- Do not apply Arena Direct’s two-loss stop rule to this championship: they are different competitions. The Arena Direct entry guide explains that event’s separate limits.
- The announced prize pool is $250,000, with $10,000 for first place. Top 16 earns Pro Tour Nauctis invitations; the two finalists earn World Championship 33 invitations.
- The older prize table extends through place 178 while the current field lists 176. Check the event page for an official payout update; the field count alone does not explain how any unawarded places are handled.

Standard Decklist and Results Checklist
- Open the event page or the organizer’s Melee page once lists are public. Match the player and archetype before importing a list.
- Keep the original list before making changes. A substitution can remove the job that made another card useful, even when the replacement looks stronger by itself.
- Separate a deck’s popularity, its match record and its suitability for your collection. A rare deck reaching the final would not erase what the full registration field looked like.
- For the set behind these changes, our Reality Fracture Commander guide covers a different format; do not transfer Commander rankings into Standard.
- The Puebla viewing guide covers another streamed event this weekend, with its own channels and reward conditions. This Magic guide does not promise watch rewards.
