Everything We Know About the K-Pop Demon Hunters Secret Lair

Official reveal

K-Pop Demon Hunters Secret Lair Confirmed

Wizards has now revealed Secret Lair x KPop Demon Hunters: How It's Done as one of eight Corn Maze Superdrop releases. The September 30 official announcement names all seven cards and both editions. The earlier teaser-based guesses are no longer needed to establish that the drop exists.

Seven reprints

K-Pop Demon Hunters Secret Lair Card List

Each edition contains one copy of each of these seven existing Magic cards in new KPop Demon Hunters art. These are reprints, not seven newly designed game pieces.

Dawn's Truce (Instant): Protects you and your permanents with hexproof. Promising an opponent a card also gives your permanents indestructible.
Unbreakable Formation (Instant): Makes your creatures indestructible. Cast it during your main phase for counters and vigilance too.
Freed from the Real (Aura): Taps or untaps the enchanted creature for blue mana; its untap ability can fuel a combo with the right mana-producing creature.
Swan Song (Instant): Counters an enchantment, instant, or sorcery for one blue mana, giving its controller a 2/2 flying Bird.
Demonic Counsel (Sorcery): Finds a Demon, or any card once four card types are in your graveyard.
Tempt with Immortality (Sorcery): Reanimates one of your creatures and offers opponents the same choice, with an extra return for you for each opponent who accepts.
Underworld Breach (Enchantment): Lets you cast nonland cards from your graveyard for their mana cost plus three other exiled graveyard cards until you sacrifice it at end step.

Where they fit

K-Pop Demon Hunters Secret Lair Standout Cards

Protection: Dawn's Truce protects you and every permanent you control. Unbreakable Formation protects creatures specifically; its main-phase bonus rewards a proactive attack.
Interaction: Swan Song is the cheapest answer here, but it cannot counter a creature or artifact spell.
Build-around cards: Freed from the Real needs the right creature to become a repeatable untap engine. Underworld Breach needs graveyard fuel and a plan to make use of one explosive turn.
Tutoring and reanimation: Demonic Counsel is narrow until delirium is active. Tempt with Immortality can return multiple creatures for you, but opponents decide whether to bring back their own.

These are card-text judgments for deckbuilding, not measured win-rate claims for the new Secret Lair printings.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Secret Lair Release Date and Sale Time

October 12, 2026: Wizards currently lists this as the Corn Maze Superdrop sale date, matching the opening and close of its announcement. The K-Pop drop is part of that sale.
Queue timing: Wizards says the pre-queue opens at 8 a.m. Pacific and the sale at 9 a.m. Pacific. Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it.

Before you buy

K-Pop Demon Hunters Secret Lair Price and Value

Non-foil: $29.99 USD for the seven-card drop.
Foil: $39.99 USD for the same seven cards in foil.
Bundle: Wizards lists this drop in the wider Corn Maze bundles. The $539.99 A-Maize-Ing Everything Bundle contains both editions of all eight drops; the foil-only bundle is $319.92 and non-foil-only bundle is $239.92.
Promo: Wizards advertises one foil Maze of Ith as “The Labyrinth” for each $199 spent on Superdrop products while supplies last. A single $29.99 or $39.99 K-Pop drop does not by itself reach that threshold.
Shipping: the official announcement advertises free shipping on orders over $99, subject to store terms.
Resale value: these card names have existing printings, but the new K-Pop editions have no established resale prices yet. Do not treat prices for unrelated printings as a guaranteed return on this drop.
