How this list is organized: Picks are grouped by exact Commander color identity rather than forced into one cross-archetype power ranking. Within each subsection, the stronger and more self-contained build-around appears first.
Colorless identity - picks 1-10
Colorless commanders
These ten commanders ask for no colored mana and include both legendary creatures and commander-eligible legendary Vehicles.
Colorless commander
The Fantasticar
The most explosive colorless commander turns spell velocity into an airborne army.
Noncreature spells animate the Fantasticar without crew, and the fourth spell can convert it into four 4/4 flying haste Constructs. Cost reducers and zero-mana artifacts make that burst achievable surprisingly early.
Fantasticar takes the top spot because a cheap-spell turn can immediately become sixteen flying haste power, with no crew requirement once the chain begins.
Colorless commander
Molecule Man
A nonland card drawn as your first card of the turn can be cast for miracle zero.
Molecule Man gives every nonland card in your hand miracle {0}, but miracle applies to the card as you draw it and only if it is the first card you drew that turn. Instant-speed draw can open another free-cast window on each opponent's turn.
Molecule Man has the larger long-game ceiling, but Fantasticar takes the top spot because it can convert the spell chain into lethal board pressure immediately; Molecule Man needs a qualifying first draw on each turn.
Colorless commander
Ultron, Artificial Malevolence
Pay two to copy each other nontoken artifact as it enters.
Whenever another nontoken artifact enters under your control, Ultron can copy it for {2}. A copied noncreature artifact becomes a 2/2 Robot Villain in addition to its other types, so mana rocks and utility pieces also become attackers.
Ultron copies the nontoken artifacts a colorless deck already wants and turns copied utility pieces into Robot pressure.
Colorless commander
The Vision
Successive noncreature spells grant double strike, indestructible, and a card.
Each noncreature spell chooses a mode not already chosen that turn: double strike, indestructible, or draw a card. The fourth spell in a turn receives no trigger because all three modes have already been chosen.
The Vision is best as a colorless Voltron-spellslinger commander: cheap noncreature spells protect it, draw cards, and switch on double strike for commander-damage kills.
Colorless commander
Super-Adaptoid
Collect keyword counters from creatures while legendary creatures set its power.
Super-Adaptoid's power equals the number of legendary creatures you control. Whenever it enters or attacks, it checks another target creature and gains counters for ten listed combat keywords that creature has and Super-Adaptoid lacks; it does not copy rules text or triggered abilities.
Super-Adaptoid collects useful keyword counters from other creatures while your legendary board determines its power.
Colorless commander
H.E.R.B.I.E., Lovable Robot
A two-mana flier that fixes mana and surveils after noncreature setup.
H.E.R.B.I.E. surveils 1 at the beginning of combat on your turn if you cast a noncreature spell that turn. It also taps for colorless mana or, with a one-mana payment, one mana of any color.
H.E.R.B.I.E.'s low cost, mana fixing, and conditional surveil make it a dependable utility commander.
Colorless commander
Vision, Synthezoid Avenger
Off-turn spells either grow Vision or phase him out.
Whenever any player casts a spell outside that player's own turn, Vision either gains a +1/+1 counter or phases out until your next turn. Your instants can grow or protect him, while opponents' interaction may give you the same choice.
This Vision rewards spells cast outside their controller's turn with either permanent growth or temporary protection.
Colorless commander
Tri-Sentinel, Act of Vengeance
A flying, menacing trampler that damages a creature for each opponent on entry.
When Tri-Sentinel enters, it deals 3 damage to up to one creature controlled by each opponent. That can answer three small creatures at a four-player table before the 7/7 attacks, and colorless blink or recursion can reuse the trigger.
Tri-Sentinel is expensive, but answering up to one creature per opponent on entry is self-contained interaction the colorless pool otherwise lacks.
Colorless commander
The Thanos-Copter
A hasty Vehicle that animates the fleet and draws from Vehicle combat damage.
When the Thanos-Copter enters, all Vehicles you control become artifact creatures until end of turn. Whenever any Vehicle you control deals combat damage to a player, you draw a card, allowing several Vehicles to produce separate triggers.
The Thanos-Copter is a legal commander and a substantial Vehicle threat, though crew makes it slower to self-start than Fantasticar.
Colorless commander
Machine Man, Model X-51
Every noncreature spell adds a counter and flying for the turn.
Machine Man gets a +1/+1 counter and gains flying until end of turn whenever you cast a noncreature spell. Cheap artifacts and interaction build permanent size while repeatedly restoring evasion.
Machine Man rounds out the list as a straightforward noncreature-spell commander that grows permanently and repeatedly gains evasion.
