How this list is organized: Picks are grouped by exact Commander color identity rather than forced into one cross-archetype power ranking. Within each subsection, the stronger and more self-contained build-around appears first.
Blue identity - picks 1-10
Mono-Blue commanders
The mono-blue standouts are compact engines that begin paying you for normal artifact and token play.
Mono-Blue commander
Shuri, Wakandan Inventor
A two-mana cost reducer with a compact artifact-copy combo engine.
Shuri discounts artifact spells and can temporarily turn one artifact into a nonlegendary copy of another. Cheap artifacts create explosive starts, while the copy ability turns expendable pieces into the strongest engine or combo piece already on your battlefield.
Shuri's two-mana cost and artifact discount give mono-blue its fastest setup, while the copy ability supplies a genuine combo ceiling.
Mono-Blue commander
Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards
Token batches become cards with no mana payment and no combat requirement.
Reed draws whenever one or more tokens enter under your control. Clues, Treasures, Thopters, and copied permanents all replace themselves, and separate token-making events can trigger him repeatedly in the same turn.
Reed is the cleaner value choice: blue already makes Clues, Thopters, and artifact copies, and each separate batch can replace itself.
Mono-Blue commander
Reed Richards, Smartest Man
The first extra draw each turn becomes four cards instead.
Reed removes the maximum hand-size limit and turns one additional draw on every turn into a burst of four. Instant-speed draw and clues can produce an extraordinary volume of cards around the table.
Turning the first extra draw on every turn into four cards gives Reed one of the set's most powerful sustained engines.
Mono-Blue commander
Namor the Sub-Mariner
Blue pips turn noncreature spells into a growing Merfolk army.
Namor's power scales with your Merfolk, and blue-heavy noncreature spells create more of them. Counterspells and cantrips therefore protect the plan while actively expanding the board.
Namor makes blue's normal noncreature interaction build an army, and his own power scales with every resulting Merfolk.
Mono-Blue commander
Iron Man, Bleeding Edge
Copy one artifact spell each turn and double the deck's best development plays.
Iron Man makes the first carefully chosen artifact spell each turn count twice. Flash artifacts and cost reduction expand the engine beyond your own main phase.
Copying a premium artifact spell each turn creates an enormous resource advantage without asking Iron Man to attack.
Mono-Blue commander
Loki, God of Mischief
The first ability you aim at any player or permanent each turn draws a card.
Loki triggers when a player or permanent becomes the target of an ability you control; the target does not need to be Loki. Reusable activated and triggered abilities can draw once on each turn around the table.
Loki can draw on each turn from reusable targeted abilities, making him far less dependent on combat than many Marvel legends.
Mono-Blue commander
Valeria Richards, Precocious
Cheaper noncreature spells and a once-per-turn draw engine reward patient play.
Valeria reduces the cost of noncreature spells and replaces the first one cast each turn. Flash artifacts and instants extend both advantages around the table.
Cost reduction plus once-per-turn draw makes Valeria a clean home for flash-heavy blue decks.
Mono-Blue commander
Echo, Perceptive Prodigy
Pay one and tap to copy one of your creature-source abilities.
Echo copies a target activated or triggered ability you control from a creature source and may choose new targets; mana abilities cannot be copied this way. Untap effects let her copy more than one eligible ability in a turn.
Echo rewards a patient interactive plan and adapts well to the best effects available in each game.
Mono-Blue commander
Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan
Spells that target your creatures become cards and temporarily scale her power.
Whenever you cast a spell that targets a creature you control, Kamala draws a card and makes her base power equal to your hand size for the turn. Multi-target spells still produce one trigger per spell, not one per target.
Kamala combines a targeted-ability draw engine with a hand-size combat payoff.
Mono-Blue commander
Vision, Spectral Synthezoid
Cast one noncreature or Robot spell from your hand for free each turn.
Once during each of your turns, Vision lets you cast a qualifying spell from your hand without paying its mana cost. Expensive noncreature spells and Robots maximize the saved mana while normal card draw keeps the hand stocked.
Blue card draw keeps Vision supplied with expensive noncreature and Robot spells to cast free from hand.
Blue identity - picks 11-12
Izzet commanders
Izzet combines blue setup with red's ability to turn one successful attack into a decisive turn.
Izzet commander
Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger
One clean hit can begin a chain of free spells, combats, and turns.
Scarlet Witch banks two face-down cards whenever she connects and can cast a Hero or noncreature spell from that growing pool for free. Haste, double strike, extra combats, and extra turns let one successful attack create the resources for the next.
Blue fixes the top of the library and protects the attack; red supplies haste, double strike, and the extra combats that make Scarlet Witch exceptional.
Izzet commander
Iron Man, Master of Machines
Artifacts grow the threat while one new permanent unlocks an attack-step draw.
Iron Man gets larger for every other artifact you control and draws on attack if an artifact entered under your control that turn. Treasure, Clue, and Thopter production makes the trigger reliable without asking you to overcommit actual cards.
Blue artifact velocity keeps Iron Man drawing, while red Treasure production and extra combats expand both his power and trigger count.
Blue identity - picks 13-14
Azorius commanders
Azorius offers resilient tempo commanders that create cards while developing or protecting the battlefield.
Azorius commander
The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster
Blink the best permanent every attack and draw through an Equipment package.
Jane temporarily exiles a nontoken artifact or creature whenever she attacks, resetting your own enter-the-battlefield effects or tapping down an opponent's blocker. Every Equipment entering also draws a card, giving Azorius a clean value engine outside combat.
Jane turns Azorius Equipment into card draw and uses her attack trigger as flexible removal or a repeatable blink for your best permanent.
Azorius commander
Namor, Atlantean King
Every noncreature spell adds a Merfolk, then a catch-up attack turns them into a wave.
Namor creates a Merfolk whenever you cast a noncreature spell. When he attacks a player with more life, the rest of that attacking team gets +2/+0, so ordinary cantrips and interaction steadily assemble the deck's closing combat step.
Namor makes blue-white interaction advance the board, solving the usual tension between holding up spells and building an army.
Blue identity - picks 15-16
Dimir commanders
Dimir's best Marvel commanders steal or duplicate premium game pieces rather than winning through raw stats.
Dimir commander
Scientist Supreme of A.I.M.
Two life copies one activated or triggered ability you control from an artifact source.
Scientist Supreme copies one artifact ability during your turn without spending mana. That can double card draw, token production, sacrifice payoffs, or a carefully selected combo ability while Dimir supplies tutors, recursion, and stack protection.
Blue supplies the artifact abilities and black supplies tutors and recursion, making this one of the set's most natural combo identities.
Dimir commander
Taskmaster, Mercenary Mimic
Start each turn as the best creature on the battlefield or in any graveyard.
Taskmaster becomes a copy of a creature on the battlefield or a creature card in a graveyard until your next turn. He scales with the table, sidesteps the need to stock only your own graveyard, and keeps his name and useful Villain typing.
Dimir can stock graveyards and protect Taskmaster until he becomes the most useful creature available each turn.
Blue identity - picks 17-18
Simic commanders
Simic converts routine draws and artifact entries into oversized threats or a wide token board.
Simic commander
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur
One artifact each turn draws a card and switches on a trampling 6/6.
The first artifact entering under your control each turn draws a card, and your second draw turns the commander into a 6/6 with trample. Flash artifacts and token makers can repeat the value around the table.
Blue artifacts and green token production can trigger the draw on every turn, keeping the commander large without sacrificing card flow.
Simic commander
The Astonishing Ant-Man
Every draw becomes a counter, and every counter can become an Insect army.
Ant-Man gains a counter whenever you draw a card, then converts any number of those counters into 1/1 Insects. Simic draw engines create a large threat quickly, while untap effects let the deck turn counters into tokens without waiting a full cycle.
Simic's draw volume grows Ant-Man at startling speed, while green untap effects turn that size into Insects before removal can erase it.
