Usurp Cards Most Likely to Reach Constructed Decks
Arknight Descendancy
It makes Runechants from banishment, helps Viserai Traverse, discounts itself, and gives Gate to i'Arathael another payoff. The player discussion is about exact play patterns, not only raw hype.
Forbidden Harvest
It turns up to three banished Shadow cards face down, makes that many Runechants, and has go again. That both fuels Traverse and reduces Blood Debt pressure.
Countdown to Extinction and Darkest Hour
Countdown is a six-power Shadow attack that creates a Gate and finds Darkest Hour on hit. Darkest Hour fixes a clunky card, then gives the next Shadow attack +4 and go again.
Violent Gusto
The generic two-cost, six-power attack can remove named aura permanents. It is useful against Vynnset, Fang, Pleiades, and other aura decks, but it does not create a broad new market by itself.

Shadow Puppetry
It gives a Shadow attack +1, go again, and another banish chance. TCG Spikes tracks one printing, and its retained history moved from $3.48 on June 20 to $9.25 on September 8. The idea is solid, but price has already begun moving.
